Just about any series has that entry that, for whatever reason, the gaming community shuns. However, I've found that in a couple cases I usually enjoy those titles--sometimes moreso than games in the series that get rave reviews. Case in point, I absolutely love Breath of Fire 5: Dragon Quarter. The game got a pretty horrible welcome when it arrived because of major changes in mechanics and themes compared to the first four titles, but for me it was a breath of fresh air and I delighted in it.
