A Short History About Naruto

To those of you who are not so aware, the manga was primarily published in the year 1997. It follows Naruto Uzumaki’s adventures, a teenage shinobi dreaming of becoming Hokage, the village’s leading ninja and protector.

Way back in 2002, Naruto has also produced an anime series, which premiered in Japan with 220 episodes. The sequel titled Naruto: Shippuden has been airing since the year 2007. The blockbuster anime and manga series will have a new movie, the Boruto: Naruto the Movie that is set to premiere on October 10 in the United States.

So going back to the Live Action Movie Adaptation...

It is said that Ari and Avi Arad are set to produce the live action movie all the way through Arad Productions, with Geoff Shaveitz, Erik Feig, and Kelly O’Malley running for the studio.

Gracey’s primary actual directing gig is the forthcoming P.T. Barnum biopic called The Greatest Showman on Earth that is going to be released on December 25, 2016 on the big screen. Apart from that, he also has other studio projects in the works. Some of them is the upcoming Rocketman, an Elton John biopic, where he will be working with Tom Hardy and Daughter of Smoke and Bone, Universal’s adaptation of the NY Times best-selling novel.

So guys, what do you think? Is Michael Gracey the right man for the live action Naruto movie helming? Let me know your thoughts. Reply to this thread. :)
