Rikidou High School was built in order to gather those students who had been born and blessed with unusually high levels of ‘Kago’ and ‘Ki’. The school, located in the city of ‘Aizawa’ on the remote but bustling island of ‘Choujin’ was made in order to teach students how to utilize their powers safely and occasionally train up promising students in order to become the city’s ‘Peace Keepers’.
A student born with ‘Kago’ is able to contain a large amounts of spirit energy based on the five elements; Water, Earth, Fire, Wind and Metal in his or her body. The greater the students capacity to hold ‘Kago’, the more powerful their ‘Ki’ partners become.
A student born with ‘Ki’ is able to transform their body into a ‘spiritual weapon’ or ‘spirit beasts’ when imbued with ‘Kago’. In order to transform though, they must first be paired up with a partner who possesses ‘Kago’.
It is a given that while in school, the students with these unique powers are paired up in order for them to ‘bond’ and be able utilize their respective powers. Some of these bonded pairs move on to become life-long friends and partners while others may even become lovers and marry.
Though rare, there have been cases where ‘Kago’ and ‘Ki’ partners were unable to get along. In these cases, the pairs are reassigned but it will take time for the new ‘bond’ to be created as a ‘severed bond’ uses plenty of ‘Kago’ and ‘Ki’ to mend and then ‘re-bond’. As such, the school encourages paired student to spend plenty of time together; often times placing them in the same classes and holding events for the student body to participate in to encourage teamwork and foster the spirit of comradery.

Alright then, this is a very casual/general high school based RP with a bit of magic thrown in. Before posting, I'd like to make a few notes:
- All RS Rules applied.
- No killing of other peoples characters without expressed permission.
- Romance (hetero couples, shonen-ai/yaoi couples and shoujo-ai/yuri couples) is allowed but strictly NO R-18 scenes.
- Have fun. If you have any suggestions for school events, clubs or any other things you think might be fun, PM me and we will discuss it.
- You are free to have more than 1 (one) character.
- 'Kago and 'Ki' partners will be decided at random (Meaning: I will assign you your partners to keep things interesting, but if you feel like your characters do not mesh well, you can be re-assigned, though I'd like a VALID reason)
- Kago and Ki users are born with the knowledge of what their elements is or if they will take on the forms of spirit beasts or weapons.
